Avoid picking at edges or directing a pressure-washer nozzle into them. Follow the installer’s timing for the first wash and ask before using polishes, solvents, or a coating over film.

Will PPF hide existing stone chips?
No. Existing chips, scratches, and paint texture can remain visible under clear film. Discuss repairs and correction before installation so you know what the finished surface will show.
Can I combine PPF and ceramic coating?
Yes, compatible products can be used together. PPF supplies a physical film layer; a coating can make cleaning that surface easier. Product selection and installation order matter.
Is every panel wrapped around its edges?
Access, panel design, film patterns, and disassembly affect edge treatment. Ask which edges will be wrapped and which will have a visible termination in your proposed installation.
How long will it take?
Timing depends on coverage, vehicle shape, preparation, and any additional work. Request a schedule with your quote rather than planning around a universal turnaround time.
What does PPF protect against?
